Bitcoin in Politics and Games – YMB Podcast E67

This is episode 67 of You, Me, and BTC, the planet's most entertaining Bitcoin podcast!

This week, we're touching on two topics that might not be as different as some people think: politics and games. For starters, we'll chat about Rand Paul, America's first presidential candidate to accept Bitcoin donations. Many liberty-oriented people laugh at the idea of a libertarian running for office, but we'll see if we can spot any benefits.

Then later in the show, we'll discuss the idea of using Bitcoin in video games. It seems like cryptocurrency would integrate wonderfully with virtual economies, but could there be some drawbacks? Would a game be unfair or less fun if rich people could easily pay real money to level up faster?

Your hosts are Tim Baker, Daniel Brown, and John Stuart. Enjoy!
