This is episode 59 of You, Me, and BTC, the planet's most entertaining Bitcoin podcast!
As you probably already know, Ross Ulbricht was found guilty last week on all seven charges that he was facing. Today, we'll share some thoughts on the trial. Did Ulbricht even have a chance of escaping any charges?
We'll also spend some time reading the original warrant for his arrest and considering some tough moral questions. Ulbricht was allegedly willing to have a hacker killed in order to protect the Silk Road's vendors and customers. Christopher Cantwell, a popular anarchist blogger, argues that actions like that are completely justified, and we'll try to decide whether or not we agree.
Your hosts this week are Tim Baker, Daniel Brown, and John Stuart. Enjoy!
