All About ICOs, Ethereum’s Decentralized Exchange, & More – YMB Podcast E175

This is episode 175 of You, Me, and BTC – your liberty and Bitcoin podcast.

How much do you know about ICOs? Do you even know what ICO stands for? I had some friends asking about altcoins lately and "initial coin offerings" came up. I decided it would be an important thing to chat about on the air, so that's where we'll kick things off tonight. We'll use a new ICO quiz from Cointelegraph to test our knowledge (and yours!) during the stream.

Then after that, we'll dive into Ethereum's new decentralized exchange, 0x OTC. If it works, it will allow people to trustlessly trade certain Ethereum tokens, much like Counterparty's DEX. This could be a huge leap for Ethereum, since it should allow a great deal of token trade with minimal risk.

Will the exchange take off? When and why should people use it? Tune in tonight for our thoughts and check the list below for some of the specific stories we'll cover!

  1. Can you actually record an episode where that dude’s mic doesn’t crackle and pierce my ear drum for the entire show. It’s unlistenable
