This is episode 177 of You, Me, and BTC – your liberty and Bitcoin podcast.

To kick off today's show, we'll list four major factors driving Bitcoin's recent record prices. It seems like we've constantly celebrated new all-time highs over the past few weeks. And naturally, we want to know what's causing the spike, so we'll share some of the leading theories during our stream.

Then later in the show, we'll cover a new development in the Coinbase vs. IRS saga. Apparently, some Republican legislators recently defended Coinbase in a letter to the IRS.

Why would they do that? What did they say was wrong with the IRS's probe? What will come of all this? As usual, we have no clue, but we'll tell you what we think anyway.

Tune in tonight for more details and opinions and check the list below for some of the specific stories we'll cover!
