It’s 4/20 and Bitcoin Is Done – YMB Podcast E171

This is episode 171 of You, Me, and BTC – your liberty and Bitcoin podcast. Happy 420! Today’s show is all about weed and the end of Bitcoin. Unfortunately, most of us are unable to stream this week, so your host is just Tim Baker.

First up, weed. It’s April 20 and for whatever reason, that means it’s time to get high, celebrate life, and run from the cops. Tim is on the scene to share what Bitcoin means for drugs and vice versa.

And the absolute best part: Tim will reveal our list of the top 5 Bitcoiners that love weed. We’re not sure if these people are massive stoners or if they just love to get high on freedom, but they all use Bitcoin and they all support the use of cannabis. Tune in to find out who they are!

Then later in the show, Tim will cover an article by someone who thinks Bitcoin is finally done. Sure, the media publishes Bitcoin obituaries daily, and most of them mean nothing. But this guy is actually into Bitcoin and has been for years. He’s remembers MtGox and the pizza and he still thinks Bitcoin is done.

Why would a true crypto-anarchist say such a thing? Do we agree? If Bitcoin is essentially dead, what will replace it?

Tune in tonight for all the answers and check the list below for some of the specific stories we’ll cover!
